Film is a thick physical layer that stops rock chips. A coating is a thin, hard chemical layer that adds gloss, water beading and chemical resistance but does not stop chips. Many owners film the front and coat the whole car.
Quality urethane film carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty against yellowing, cracking and bubbling. In practice, garaged cars in Dallas look right well past that. Parked outside year round, expect the top coat to need a little more care after year seven.

Film is covered by the manufacturer for yellowing, cracking, bubbling and delamination. Our workmanship warranty covers lifting edges, stretch marks and installation defects. Impact damage is not covered, but Plus and Elite plans include panel re-films.
Keep it dry for 24 hours and wait 7 days for the first wash. Use a pH-neutral shampoo and avoid automatic brush car washes for the life of the coating.
